Jason Hearn is a long time Lacey resident.
He and his wife of 17 years, Tina, are the parents of three children ages
10, 8 and 5.
Hearn serves on Lacey City Council as Chair of the Transportation Committee and member of the Finance and Economic Development Committee.
He also serves county wide on the Solid Waste (Garbage and Recycling) Advisory Council, Joint Animal Services (Animal Shelter) Board, and the Emergency Medical Services Board, which oversees our ambulance service here in Thurston County.
Professionally, Hearn is in the communications business. As an employer with Northwest Media Company LLC, since 2001,

Hearn earned a BA in Broadcast Communications/Media Sales, building skills that enabled him to learn about and listen to others’ perspectives. He earned an athletic scholarship (HS State Champion) in swimming and competed in the US Senior National Championships, and the Western Athletic Conference Championships in long distance swimming.
As a teenager, Hearn earned the coveted rank of Eagle Scout. This qualified him to serve on our Eagle Scout board of review, here in Thurston County. The Scouts trained him in citizenship and preparedness.
At his church, Hearn served on the financial team for several years, helping to ensure accountability of financial policy within his congregation. He has also been a participant in Vacation Bible School and other children’s activities. |
